Off went the light- read by Taylor

Designing and learning new skills

We are now fully into our individual inquiries. In class today there were boys deconstructing an old computer in order to make a Beyblade, girls learning to use a sewing machine and kids painting and constructing a scaled model of their playhouse.

Getting into our personal inquiries

Room 27 Inquiries

Getting started on our personal inquiry projects

After a week of immersion activities that encouraged us to be creative, 4 key areas of interest emerged; Beyblades, building cities and houses, making puppets, building playhouses. We have chosen which of these things we would like to take further and learn more about. So this term there are 3 inquiry teams working in our class- 1. What makes a great Beyblade? How do you organise a great Beyblade tournament? 2. How do you make a great puppet? What does it take to put on a great show for others? 3. What does a great playhouse look like? What do we need to learn so we can build a great playhouse?
